As you all well know, I run my channel a little differently than most. This time of year that means a fundraiser where I can give back to as many of you as I possibly can. Thank you so much for checking out the 2023 fundraiser, and thank you for helping keep this channel community driven. Every single video I make is for you guys, I hope you have found them helpful!

In 2022 I made over 200 videos! This “part time” side thing of making YouTube videos about a hobby I care about has really taken over much of my life…and I couldn’t be happier about that! I’m addicted to the satisfaction/fulfillment I feel knowing that the videos I make are helpful to you. It’s a feeling I do not get from my “normal” job.

But enough about that – let’s see how things turned out. In 2022 I was able to attend Gen Con, my very first convention ever! That was 100% thanks to you guys! Patreon helps keep the channel running and games consistently paid for, but large expenses like that really are only truly possible thanks to the larger influx of funds like what this fundraiser brings. Perhaps maybe in 2023 Essen would be possible? I’d love for that to be the case!

One thing that I struggled with was finding the time to box up and ship out the prototypes. Each one is a unique puzzle of odd shapes and sizes 🙂 Between making all those videos, my full time job outside of YouTube and ensuring I still show my face from time to time to my wife and kids this really took quite some time! Much more than I anticipated.

So this year I’ve improved. Not only will you see an estimate in shipping cost right up front, but all games will be boxed already too! This way I can assure a swift delivery once the campaign is closed.
