With years of experience critically looking at campaigns and miniatures from a consumer perspective combined with the understanding of the business side of things I can bring positive impact to the final result. This includes informing consumers as well, both to help bring confidence to the product, but also show that the company is ensuring a consumer focused approach.

Miniatures

This is one of the largest impacts for a game both during a campaign and also upon delivery. It also greatly affects the business bottom line. Crowdfunded board games are an inherently premium product and consumers are well versed in what companies are offering and at what quality.

First impressions are everything and a strong day one sets the tone for the entire lifetime of the game. I can help with design critiques of sculpts even when only art is available. Additionally I can help you share those designs with greater impact.

Perhaps you just need help dealing with manufacturer changes? In early design and want to avoid costly changes later? Don’t know the difference between a steel mold or a silicone mold? There is so much to running a good campaign. Layout is integral, conveying your game at a high level but with enough detail is important, showing off how beautiful your product is can’t be missed and instilling confidence and excitement in potential backers is the most important of all.

Examples

Often unconsidered, the injection process can struggle to “push” plastic everywhere it needs to go. There are tactful remedies to this issue.

Gaps, or negative space based on pull direction can be impossible to mold without separating pieces which can be an issue on smaller parts and costly as well. Designing your sculpt from the get-go with this in mind can help avoid costly changes later.

Sometimes a mold might be designed in such a way that it becomes very difficult to manufacture without drastic changes. Through some problem solving and critical thinking solutions can still present themselves.
